Hey there! I wanted to introduce y'all to my new friend, Lager. He's a cutie, I tell you! And so much fun to play with! His nice Momma brings him over to meet me and Danica and we all have a blast! Here's some pictures foster Mom took of us :) Enjoy!

Canine Good Citizen - Part 1

So, I began my CGC class last Monday and do I even need to say this...? I did great! In fact, I did so great, Aunty Amanda had me do an exercise one more time just to see that she wasn't dreaming! Hah! As you can see from the pictures, I was pretty chilled out. I still don't understand why everyone was laughing at me but hey! a girl's gotta sit pretty, doesn't she? Especially if she's as pretty as me! In any case, it was cold... and I just wanted to keep my paws warm...

hmm... comfy!

Anyway, as you can see, the other doggies there didn't phase me, no, no! And I've got my commands down so good that Aunty Amanda had me show them other doggies how to do them. I showed them how to sit still and stay put when your (foster) Mommy tells you to, even if she goes far, far away. I also showed them how to sit purdy when a stranger approaches us and wants to say hi. That's the trick that everyone thought I'd fail miserably at. But I just sat there, even when Aunty Amanda sent a complete stranger our way. Uh huh! I did Foster Mommy very proud that evening, I did!

Don't worry, I have no intention of stepping onto the cold grass!

I would like to take a moment and thank Legacy Boxer Rescue for giving me a new lease on life. I was 1 year and 3 months old when LBR rescued me. And not once in my life before that did I ever get to play like this...

Back to school!

I am in Puppy Class 2 now and last night was the first session. I was so excited to see Cadillac again. He is as big as me now and he's only 6 months old! But, oh! He loves me so! I was playing hard to get but he wouldn't give up trying. He kept wagging his cute fawn nub at me and gave me kisses when I wasn't looking. Okay, so I love him, too... a little bit... he'll have to work a little harder but he's got another 5 weeks to try :) *hee hee*

I was a star student, again. I paid attention to foster Mom as best as I could, what with all the highly distracting sights and especially smells. Missing in action

I know, I know... I've just been too busy practicing for the Legacy Summer Athletics going on right now at the Legacy Boxer Rescue! I already won a few medals!!!

Today's event is Chase :)

My first Puppy Class!

I'd told you earlier that I was going to start going to school soon. Well, I had my first class on Saturday and it was AWESOME! Foster Mommy was pleasantly surprised at how well I did. She was so proud of me!

There was this beautiful Great Dane called Tsuki and a boxer puppy that looked just like me called Cadillac. My folks are usually worried if there's a small dog around, but I was such a good girl with baby Cadillac :)
And I was so happy to see Aunty Amanda (Sampson) again! You see, I had started classes once before but had to stop because I fell sick. Aunty Amanda was also my foster sister Danica's trainer and she came home a couple times for private lessons. She had let me sit on her shoulder :)


We have been working on basic commands ourselves for a while now and I was able to show off all that I can already do. Everyone was so impressed with my sit's, stay's and watch me's! I was actually a model student that day :)
Foster Mom was a little slow with dispensing treats, though, so I had to keep reminding her... loudly...! Aunty Amanda told her to stop paying any attention to my tantrums and I got the point soon enough and settled down for a nap instead.

Aunty Amanda told us how to work on commands like sit, watch me, come, etc. (most of which I am already a pro at!) and I'm having a blast practising at home! I don't understand why so many young people complain about homework when it's so much fun!

I get to spend one on one time with my folks and get to eat yummy treats! I can't think of anything else that is more fun!
I had such a great time at class, I can't wait to go back for more! Thank you Aunty Amanda for being so patient and understanding :)

{Psst! Aunty Amanda says boxers are one of her favourite dogs, second only to Great Danes... but I think she's just saying it so her Great Danes don't feel sad... I know she loves me more ;) }
